Advanced Formula Joint Supplement
with 200mg Hyaluronic Acid for Horses
Whether your horse is an equine athlete or a old friend enjoying a well deserved retirement, you want to make sure that he is healthy, happy and sound. From trail horse to top level competitors, joint health is a real concern for all horses and their owners. We want to keep our horses comfortable and make certain they are able to perform at the highest level. InflamAway HA-200 was created to go beyond other supplements by adding hyaluronic acid for horses’ joints, cartilage and synovial fluid support.
InflamAway HA-200 is a powerful and effective equine joint supplement and soft tissue support formula, synergistically combining 200 mg. of Hyaluronic Acid (HA) with high quality human-grade ingredients. This special blend of premium ingredients, including Glucosamine HCl, Chondroitin Sulfate, Yucca, Bromelain, Vitamin C, MSM and antioxidants, is designed to support joint function and mobility.
In addition to 200 mg. of Hyaluronic Acid, InflamAway HA-200 also combines advanced “next generation” ingredients that are necessary for healthy joints. The addition of ingredients such as Bromelain, Manganese, Zinc and Vitamin C, is designed to increase absorption and ultimately bioavailablity. Research studies have suggested the increased availability of Glucosamine and Chondroitin when combined with these ingredients.
Recently, I began including InflamAway HA-200 in my regular feeding program. Quite honestly I was skeptical as I had tried other horse joint supplements in the past and really noticed no difference. In this case, I thought I would perform my own personal in house test and feed it to a select group of individuals that could demonstrate its effectiveness. I chose horses based on their age, soundness history, and work load. In every case I noticed a positive result.
The most amazing change was found in an aged reiner who had a history of joint concerns and always carried a tremendous amount of fluid in his ankles. Not only have his ankles remained significantly smaller, but his range of motion has improved dramatically. I’m beyond impressed. I’m proud to endorse this great equine joint supplement and have made it a requirement for all my reining horses.

The HA-200 Advantage: High Molecular Weight
Hyaluronic Acid sources can vary widely among supplements and the source will determine the effectiveness. Many other horse joint supplements use hyaluronic acid derived from rooster combs or hydrolyzed chicken cartilage. These low molecular weight, protein-containing animal sources are not biologically identical to the HA found in the synovial fluid. Published research studies have confirmed that high molecular weight, protein-free hyaluronic acid has the greatest biological response rate, because it replicates the HA found naturally in the body. We continue our commitment to the use of only the highest quality ingredients in all of our formulations. InflamAway HA-200 is made with protein free, high molecular weight HA that is bio-identical to the normal HA found in healthy joints.

Wanted to give you an update on how my son’s 19 year old paint “Lady” has responded after almost four weeks on InflamAway HA-200. We have witnessed good improvement, especially on downhill walks. She trots when turned out to pasture and is not showing signs of stiffness the next morning after a long ride like before. Thanks for your help with everything and your caring of the animals first and foremost. You guys are top notch!
Tosca and I regularly compete together in Hunter/Jumper and I have been using InflamAway with HA for many years. Thanks for making such a great product – the results have been terrific! My horse (Tosca) does really well on it – thank you!
I have been having some minor soundness issues with my show horse this season. Vetted him a few times, and nobody could find anything more than a little fluid/swelling in his fetlock joints that wasn’t bad enough to warrant injecting. I decided to try him on InflamAway HA-200 to see if it would help since it seemed to have a good list of ingredients and is very reasonably priced. And did it ever! 5 days into using it, he is doing SO much better.I am a believer in oral hyaluronic acid for horses!
Bioflavanoids
Super-antioxidants, also known as “flavonoids”, that are believed to have anti-inflammatory properties and protect cells from damaging free radicals released during periods of injury or stress such as vigorous exercise. May also be beneficial combating allergies and infection.
Bromelain
Bromelain is a mixture of protein-digesting enzymes which is extracted from pineapple. Human studies have shown Bromelain and other enzymes may be effective to aid in recovery from injury and stress related to exercise. It is also believed Bromelain may have an anti-inflammatory and pain-relieving effect on joints and muscles.
Chondroitin Sulfate
Chondroitin is a compound that is a major component of cartilage and bone. It is believed that Chondroitin may enhance shock-absorbing characteristics of collagen and inhibit enzymes that destroy cartilage. Recent studies have shown that when used in conjunction with glucosamine, chondroitin reduces pain in osteoarthritis and can reverse cartilage loss. Recent research has also shown chondroitin sulfate to be bioavailable in the horse.
Glucosamine HCl
Glucosamine is a compound found naturally in the body, made from glucose and the amino acid glutamine. Glucosamine is needed to produce glycosaminoglycan, a molecule used in the formation and repair of cartilage and other body tissues. Production of glucosamine slows with age and must be supplemented. Glucosamine is an important precursor to glycosaminoglygans (GAGs) such as chondroitin sulfate and hyaluronic acid and aids in their production within the body.
Hyaluronic Acid (HA)
HA is found naturally throughout the body and is of significant importance in joint function as a component of the synovial fluid. Because this molecule binds readily with water molecules, it becomes a gel capable of providing lubrication and shock absorption. Research studies have shown HA to be bio-available as it can be absorbed effectively when taken orally. We believe hyaluronic acid for horses is a key ingredient for superior joint support.
Manganese
Manganese is a trace element crucial for proper formation of healthy bones and joints. Since amounts of Manganese vary widely depending on diet, supplementation should be considered.
MSM (Methylsulfonylmethane)
MSM is a source of organic sulfur that plays a critical role in the formation of protein and connective tissue. MSM occurs naturally in several species of plants, and is important in joint health and also helps form connective tissue – cartilage, tendons, and ligaments. Sulfur is necessary for many critical roles in the body such as protein formation, enzymes and connective tissues.
Vitamin C (Buffered)
Vitamin C, also known as ascorbic acid, is an important antioxidant vitamin that plays a mainly protective role in the body. Vitamin C protects the body against damage from free radicals largely responsible for many degenerative diseases. Vitamin C plays a critical role in the body’s immune system function as it stimulates production of interferon and antibodies that fight bacteria and viruses to protect against infections and illnesses. Vitamin C is also needed to make collagen, the protein necessary for the formation and repair of blood capillaries and connective tissue such as cartilage, skin, bone, tendons and ligaments. Horses under the stress of exercise, transportation or just normal aging should benefit from Vitamin C supplementation.
Yucca
Yucca is a medicinal plant native to Mexico. According to folk medicine yucca extracts are used to reduce discomfort and inflammation, as the main active ingredient (a protein called saponin) has antioxidant and anti-inflammatory properties. Yucca is known to have steroidal-like effects that may benefit joint issues by suppressing pathogens in the digestive tract that cause joint inflammation. Yucca root also contains resveratrol, which is a natural phytoalexin that has proven antioxidant properties to protect the body from cellular damage caused by oxidation. Yucca has been used by Horse owners for many years as a joint supplement. Further reading: Anti-inflammatory and anti-arthritic effects of yucca schidigera:J Inflamm (Lond). 2006; 3: 6
Zinc Citrate
Zinc is a necessary trace element in the diet, forming an essential part of many enzymes, and playing an important role in protein synthesis and in cell division. Zinc has been shown to have a role in connective tissue formation. Another trace element that should be considered for supplementation as diets vary.
